The International Bow Organization World Competition

Lisa said it so well I am not changing her text! Our Grand Nephew is up and running… “The overly enthusiastic outdoors hunter man/child Jamie has qualified for the International Bow Organization World Competition this fall. We are pretty happy for him since this is his first year of competition. He took second place in a tournament last weekend, and we are off to Ohio this weekend for another tournament. (Tournaments pretty much every weekend -- buy the extra competition will help him prepare for the Outdoor World Tournament.) The World tournament draws people from all over the world, i.e. "World Tournament". There will be stiff competition, but he is the youngest age at his level--so we're just happy to see him compete against the older boys, and being so young for his age group gives him more time to develop over the years. The odd thing is that the Outdoor World Tournament final is held each year in "West Virginia" so we only have to drive about 1.5 hours to get there----hmmmmm, maybe the local boy will do his state proud one of these days! Wish him luck in your thoughts. (Many a Chipmunk shall be redeemed, and their lives shall not have been lost in vain due to "live" target practice!!!) Ha, Ha.”
