The Brides Breakfast

The Champagne mimosa is a classic drink for fun breakfasts, especially breakfast in bed. Treat yourself or a loved one to this classic drink! 1 oz Orange Juice 3 oz Champagne The secret ingredient*** Secret Ingredient*** 1 to 2 Tablespoons Triple Sec In a tall flute glass, pour first the Orange Juice, then the Champagne and the SECRET INGREDIENT. The Champagne with its alcohol is thicker and will mix down into the OJ. Do not stir - you'll lose the bubbles! Geek Omelets [Thanks Chris…for sending this to me] Just to be sure I tried this last weekend it works!!!! This has absolutely nothing to do with computers, unless you happen to have a very complicated stove. I have to share it for two reasons. It’s one heckuva good trick, and it’s one of the very few pieces of Internet trash that has come to me this month that was even worth reading. ***My-wife-the-shrink and I tried it this evening, and we’ll be doing it again, soon and often.Quite simply - and briefly - here’s how you create darned near perfect omelets for about as many people as you want to feed. It’s quick, ridiculously easy, and as close to foolproof as you can get.Write the names of those you’re feeding on freezer Ziplocs with a permanent felt-tip. Break two or three eggs into each bag. Add cheese, veggies, and spices to taste. (If you're feeding others, have the goodies prepared, and let them add their own fixin's.)When everything's ready, squeeze as much air out of the bags as you can, and seal them. Then smoosh everything around inside until they're well mixed. Give each a shake to get all the goo in the bottom and off the sides.Heat a big pot of water to a roiling boil, and add the bags. You can cook several in a two-gallon pot. Boil 13 minutes for two eggs, 15 with three. Remove the bags from the water immediately when the time is up.Note: this is really all you have to do. Don't get fancy, and things will work out perfectly. ***M-w-t-s thought hers was a little soft, and nuked it for a few seconds. Mine was perfect. If I nuked one it would be very carefully, as I wouldn't want it to get too hard. The omelets will easily slide out of the bag onto the plate. Garnish and enjoy.
