Finally, and greatly waited for, the first Call duck egg to hatch under our first year female.

The duck brooder is ready for us to snag the babies. Usually we would allow Mom to tend to what she does best, but in this case we have 9 outside cats that would take the ducklings all too quickly. Not that we do not have faith in the attending two males, but these are very small ducks by comparison to an adult Rouen,
Cayuga, Black and Blue, Swedish, Khaki Campbell, Silver Appleyard. Well you get the idea.
Between it being a TWO-Beech day, the flowers and NOW more babies. What an awesome day indeed!
