What a trip down memory lane! These two laundry blogs reminded me of the old wringer washer that my grandmother used to have. I loved watching the clothes go thru it!
The thing I remember most is that no one had a 'throw-away' mentality when I was young... I remember Dad changing the end of the plug on the toaster cord. Today, people just get a new toaster.
Amazing...
