Dolly Sods yesterday afternoon...

My Dentist’s Mother, and a dear friend of mine sent these wonderful pictures to me. They are wonderful and I hope you enjoy. For those of you that have visited Dolly Sods know it's a special place. For those of you who haven't, you should especially during the fall. You can see the blue berries bushes as the turn from green to red. The brilliant red color lasts for only several days before it starts to turn a dull brown. There are millions of these bushes that turn the ground cover into a sea of red. The Mountain Ash tree also displays red berries that add to the color. Add this to the contrasting dark green of the Red Spruce trees and you can understand the phrase “Wild Wonderful West Virginia!!!”
