Post Three on ICE

As I walked out to the creek bank there was a definite CRUNCH underfoot. It reminded me of roasted pecans. ODD? Well I enjoy cooking and have roasted pecans for a particular dish, then the recipe asks that you crush them as you distribute them over the food…
The sound was similar, but not the smell of pecans for sure…
Then I heard another sound, it was like a critter trying to get out of a cage…

I listened more closely to define the exact location of it.
As I moved closer to the sounds it became apparent that the ice was shifting then floating into another larger slab of ice. It was amazing; it looked like fins of a shark or some large fish, so elegant in its movement that I am sure there would be an appropriate Classical piece that could accompany it perfectly. Ummmm Swan Lake????
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~Maybe Bolero by Ravel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~An American in Paris by Gershwin's ~~~~~~~~~
his second-most famous orchestral composition, was inspired by the composer's trips to Paris throughout the 1920s. ~~~~~~~~~~~Then there is Rhapsody in Blue ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But what about The Nutcracker ??????????????????
