Yellow

Our Cat Castor bonded with the canoe, fact blended quite well with it ;)
My Sweetie is safely home with a myriad of stories to share and soon photos. He called when they got out of the waters and said he had gotten a new [to him] canoe…it was YELLOW.

Well---------------this is what ran through my head… State Road Yellow? AARRGHH

As I sat in the swing awaiting the FIRST sighting of the returning Fisherman these songs ran though my mind.

The color choices were taken from the West Virginia state seal. The correct reference to West Virginia University's color scheme is "Old Gold and Blue", not Blue and Gold.

I remember all those songs :). Your kitty did match the canoe.

The canoe is a very nice shade of pale gold. Looks nice. Can't wait to see the pictures of the trip. Steve said your team is doing really well and are in with the top ten or something like that. GOooooo team!! Enjoy the upcoming game.

Looks like a very nice kevlar? canoe. I bought a racing canoe once and though it was faster than most but it was still very slow. I think a kayak or better still a rowing shell or better still a small sailboat would be my cup of tea.

Ki:

Kevlar canoes and the weight reduction was a consideration, 43 pounds of canoe Plus the Duluth pack /backpack and fishing gear.
It handles well on the water, which is ultimately far more important than how heavy the canoe is on the portages. This one can be re vamped to be a single occupant canoe, which is a nice option.

Iowa:
The cat has a brother that is about the same shade, they are dear critters. As for the songs, I suppose it is an association thing, like smells bring back memories…

Alyssa:

Your Steve is right on about the Mountaineers…at this moment we are ranked 5th by AP Polls as well as the ESPN Polls. As for the pictures I am reviewing them and altering some of them…will be posting soon
