When a small rock group from Ohio named the McCoys recorded Hang On Sloopy in 1965, who would have guessed that decades later the song would become synonymous with Ohio State Football?

GREAT PHOTOS!!! And the song title reminded me of when my nieces heard that song for the first time - years ago - they asked their mother (my sister) "WHY would anyone want to sing 'Hang On STUPID?'" I laughed 'til I about peed my pants!!! Chalk up another one for "mis-heard lyrics"!!! :)
