When our children were small we made a sunflower and morning glory gazebo. To this day the morning glories return. AH, What fun that was, and continued memories. Maybe I shall do that again next spring!

Wow! Those pictures are breath-taking!

"....crazed with the love of light" is a wonderful description. I won't forget that one.

The info about the pioneers using the seeds as "bread crumbs" so to speak, is really neat.

I'll bet the sunflower/morning glory gazebo was beautiful. Maybe your children will restart the tradition. Wish I had the sun and good soil for a flower gazebo.
