I can remember eating at those dime store lunch counters. We didn't have all the other eating options like we do now.
What a great post this is Dee.. we did not have anything like this as such. maybe the 'MilkBars' as we called them.. but nothing like this.. I'm off to follow the link now..

Great post and interesting.
My sister and I used to love going to Woolworth's because of all of the little things they carried. We didn't have any money and could only dream of buying some of those treasures. And I remember there was a lunch counter there - but I don't recall too many people eating at it. Neat memory!
