I managed to go out @ every 10 minutes. That is until the eclipse was ready to go the other way…bedtime for me…plus it was @ 5 degrees outside. At this point I can say I am pleased with what I was able to get. I feel sure others will have better pictures, and that is SUPER by me. Makes me start thinking about another camera… HA HA.

I will take today to edit what I think is good and pass on for the Sky watch. Bottom line, despite the cold, it was so pretty. We did see that red haze, which seems to have come through in several of my pictures…
I just knew that the sky would be clear…even after going to bed; we opened the shade to the skylight over our bed and continued to monitor the moon. Soon it was like a Giant Pizza pie in my eye!

The photo Gallery at http://spaceweather.com/eclipses/gallery_20feb08.htm?PHPSESSID=0g4q7p6l7n9ugfuudu2ialrdu6
Has some super pictures…[I am comparing with what I have ;)] Plus they tell what camera was used etc. Valuable info for sure![still thinking about a new camera… ;)

I was thinking last night, wonder how many Sky Watch people were looking at the same thing I was… sorta neat ey?DeeMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14775898919722565676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25716517.post-31084516356416353432008-02-21T05:26:00.000-05:002008-02-21T05:26:00.000-05:00WE had it but I was in bed. I tried unsuccessfully to take pictures. About the only time I can get a shot of the moon is during the day.
Maybe Tom will get some good pictures.dothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12301223597410227516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25716517.post-7999587391158718572008-02-20T17:35:00.000-05:002008-02-20T17:35:00.000-05:00Hello 'D'I'm so late today at visiting... I will o...Hello 'D'
I'm so late today at visiting... I will only have time for a few of my blogs tonight now.

I have been waiting all week for this, the tripod is set up ready... I've marked the spot where the moon will be tonight at 02.30 - 03.00. But and this is a sickener... we seem to have a heavey covering of cloud. Crystal Clear for the last two weeks but tonight we have to have cloud.
I'm setting my alarm and I'll see what the covering is like.
If it's cloudy... I'll turn over and sleep and catch it tomorrow or on Fridays Sky Watch..
I hope your skies are clear.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04167792394551286975noreply@blogger.com
